Ronald P. Jones

Ronald P. Jones is a partner in KSC. His primary legal focus is real estate, contract law, corporate law and estate planning. He represents real estate developers, small to large homebuilders, general contractors and individuals. He negotiates and drafts specialty contracts of all types; and forms and advises corporations, general and limited partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies.

Ron earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University in 1985. After high school Ron concurrently obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California, and then obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, specializing in Thermodynamics, Nuclear Engineering and Power Plant Design.

Later, Ron worked in the family income tax preparation business and obtained his Enrolled Agent’s Certificate from the Internal Revenue Service, followed by living in Italy for a year and a half, completing Italian language studies in Perugia, Italy, after which he commenced law school in Boston.

In addition to his law practice, Ron is a past-President of the Home Builder’s Association of Tulare and Kings County, and a past-Director and Board Chairman of Kings County’s Economic Development Corporation. Ron and his wife, Mary Beth are long time members of Hanford’s First Baptist Church and they participate in and support Relay for Life and other philanthropic activities.
